2023-2024 Influenza Vaccine

2023-2024 Influenza Vaccine

Our flu shot clinics are fully booked. We regret not being able to offer more availability. Please do not call the office to ask if additional spots can be offered; we simply do not have the capacity to offer more appointments.

Please check with your pharmacies or Ottawa Public Health for alternative vaccination options.

If you are over the age of 64, and you have received the flu shot from a pharmacy or Ottawa Public Health clinic, please let us know so that we can update your medical record.

Anyone born in 2016 or earlier is eligible to get the COVID-19 vaccine. Please note that COVID-19 vaccines are not being offered at our clinic. We encourage everyone who is eligible for their 1st, 2nd, or 3rd (booster) dose to book an appointment through the Ontario Booking website, or at a participating pharmacy.

For more information about vaccine safety and eligibility, as well as school clinics and drop-in community clinics, please visit the Ottawa Public Health Website.

Looking for a family doctor?

Looking for a family doctor?

Unfortunately, the Montfort Academic Family Health Team is not currently accepting new patients, and does not have a wait list for people wishing to become patients at the clinic. If you do not have a family health care provider and you are looking for one, you can sign up for the Health Care Connect program at the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care's website, or by calling 1-800-445-1822.

November 1st, 2022

In order to contain the COVID-19 outbreak, and keep our patients and staff safe, we have implemented the following measures:

  • Many appointments have been offered as phone or video appointments. Kindly make note of your appointment type at the time of booking, and when our office confirms with you in the days prior to your appointment. Your healthcare provider will call you at the time of your appointment. Note that it is likely that your provider's call will show up as ‘No Caller ID’. Please make sure you answer your phone at the time of the appointment, even if it is a blocked number.
  • If your doctor, nurse practitioner or clinic nurse has specifically instructed you to come to the office for an in-person visit, we ask that you come alone. If you must be accompanied by someone (such is the case for children or adult dependents), we ask that only one person accompany the patient. If you have a mask, please wear it to your appointment. If you do not have a mask, we will gladly provide you a disposable one for your appointment once you arrive.
  • While we appreciate that masking mandates in public settings have been lifted as of June 11th, for the protection of our more vulnerable patients, we continue to require that all individuals visiting our premises wear a mask at all times.

Please note we are not testing for COVID-19 on site.

If you think you need to be tested for COVID-19, please consult the self assessment tool here. It will help you identify your options.

Thank you for your patience and understanding in these difficult times. We appreciate the kindness that our patients have demonstrated to our staff and physicians in the recent months.
